There are many regional strategies and transportation system strategies that can help in reducing emissions. We developed a tool that can assist planning professionals in assessing the relative benefits of different emissions control strategies. By plugging in details specific to your situation for each given strategy, the tools can show you the potential emissions reductions that you can expect to see by implementing one or more strategies. You can compare different strategies to consider where to prioritize your efforts. You can also look at the combined emissions reductions from employing multiple strategies.
Please note: These tools are intended to be used at a sketch-planning level to assess the relative benefits of various emissions reductions strategies. While they make use of emissions rates from EPA’s MOVES model and quantification methods and assumptions from established literature, the results are not for official design or regulatory use.
